It's a shame that there are no good photos of the old L'Hotel Les Tropiques with it's long jetty that was 3 miles from Papeete (south), so I presume on the site of the International Airport. It was used in an MGM movie "Mutiny on the Bounty", but as yet haven't been able to get pics of the resort. It was a major tourist destination in it's day, but find a postcard or a pic-nigh impossible. There is a faint one in a book on Tahiti.
